Whatever your interest, the area around Kinloch Rannoch village offers something for everyone to enjoy, with the added bonus of the stunning scenery. There are challenging (and some not so challenging) walks and cycle rides, munros to climb, fishing on one of the many lochs or rivers and stalking and an abundance of wildlife, both flora and fauna, almost everywhere you go. Take a picnic up into the surrounding hills, immerse yourself in the beauty of the area and listen to the silence.
Castles to Explore

There are castles to explore including Blair Castle in Blair Atholl and Castle Menzies near Aberfeldy, unusual sights to see such as the (allegedly) 5,000 year old yew tree in Fortingall conservation village, visit the Pass of Killiecrankie to see the Soldier’s Leap, or visit the Festival Theatre and the Salmon Ladder in Pitlochry.
There is always something going on in the village and notices of events and activities are posted in the window of the Rannoch Country Store.
